The movie Coyote: The Mike Plant Story is currently making the film festival rounds, and while it’s not in the PNW yet, director Thomas Simmons assures me that he’s looking hard for an opportunity to get it here. I, for one, am very anxious to see it – Mike Plant was a fascinating character, a great sailor and not as well known as he should be.

He has been Assistant Editor at Sailing Magazine and a short stint as Editor of Northwest Yachting. Through Meadow Point Publishing he handles various marketing duties for smaller local companies. He currently is partners on a C&C 36 which he cruises throughout the Northwest. He’s married to the amazing Abby and is father to Ian and Gabe.
