There’s the Washington State CorePlus program and the Seattle Public Schools are supporting the trades with their Seattle Skills Center. These programs recognize that learning a trade is a great way to make a living and not everybody wants to go to college. Many companies will offer on the job training, factory courses from equipment suppliers and other incentives to make getting a job fulfilling.
